This being said the memories came flooding back when we went home for Thanksgiving. My parent's live in a house with a ton of tree's surrounding it. Thus a multitude of leaves. Every fall we spent most weekends raking and burning leaves when I was growing up. (oh the blisters we had...) The kids got a little taste of raking leaves while we were home for the holiday's.

Thanksgiving in Missouri
I recently told Craig that is just didn't seem right that we never rake leaves here. We mostly have pine tree's and the few a deciduous tree's we have it seems to be that as soon as they lose their leaves the wind carries them off to the woods that are at the end and side of our property.

I love the idea of raking leaves too, but I will let you keep the blisters.
